A Coalition for Dignity, Healing, and Workforce Empowerment

The Susquehanna Warrior Reserve is a community-rooted initiative designed to restore dignity, stability, and opportunity for individuals facing crisis in Northeast Pennsylvania. SWR brings together service providers, corrections professionals, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates to form a trauma informed coalition that addresses homelessness, health access, and workforce development through coordinated care and ethical systems.

At its core, SWR is both a movement and a structure working towards transparent referrals, progress tracking, and real-time collaboration across sectors. SWR ensures continuity, protects intellectual property, and creates space for scalable, shared leadership.

Whether through restorative luncheons, coalition-building workshops, or digital navigation tools, SWR uplifts the region’s most valuable asset: its people. It is a reserve not of resources alone, but of resilience and purpose. Read on to see how we’re laying the foundation for lasting change.

Supporting Those Who Serve Behind the Walls

Let’s Shine’s Susquehanna Warrior Reserve is launching a series of Restorative Luncheons for Luzerne County Corrections Officers — a profession that carries immense stress, emotional fatigue, and far too little recognition.

Through powerful partnerships with Luzerne County Corrections, Patriot’s Cove, Hero’s Hearthstone, CIRT/Peer Support, and The GUIDE App Team, these luncheons will create a safe, stigma free space for officers to:

🍽️ Enjoy nourishing meals
🗣️ Connect through peer led conversations
🧭 Access trauma informed resource guides
📱 Receive confidential 24/7 support through The GUIDE App

This initiative restores dignity, strengthens resilience, and ensures officers know they are not alone.

We’re inviting community partners and sponsors to stand with us in honoring and supporting those who protect our communities every day. Together, we can build a culture of care, connection, and long-term well being.

Bridging Gaps. Restoring Dignity. Building Resilience.

Exciting Partnership Announcement!

Let's Talk Affordable Housing

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM, we will host a Stakeholder Meeting at the Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of this gathering is to bring together landlords, developers, funders, and community partners to explore pathways to solutions to this incredible need spanning through out Luzerne County.

Our goal is to spark meaningful conversation, highlight barriers and discuss available resources, and make these programs easier to navigate so that landlords and developers feel encouraged to participate in building sustainable solutions.
